Never smelt the original perfume so have no idea if it is a close match or not. Based on the perfume oil I find the scent a bit to heady and busy for me. I can definitely smell the chocolate but cannot pick out any other separate scent but am aware of a cloud of other smells that is a bit overwhelming for me. its ok but I will probably try one of the lighter angels next time.

The scent is strong and lasts a good while but I personally don't like it. Its my first time smelling Japanese cherry blossom in general so maybe its just a scent that I dislike but others may prefer. For me it smells like an odd chemical and feels like the smell goes straight up my nose and to the front of my head where it starts an ache. I'd suggest trying it if you have used other perfumes or bath bombs that use cherry blossom and have liked it previously, but its just not for me.

Had High Hopes for this but am somewhat ambivalent. I had ordered 2 small bottles, the first one was quite similar in opening notes & then settled . unfortunately I gifted that one to my brother in law. the second bottle that I have unfortunately doesn't seem to be the same. maybe a mistake. I will wait for another one before doing a full review.
