I tried the original side-by-side with this version. The original has rather a pronounced vanilla note which overwhelmed the oud and took me by surprise, given the name. This version has less vanilla note, but is more woody. Lovely fragrance though.

I've never tried the original, but this is a lovely fragrance, easy on the oud but with a boozy note. Good for cold weather!

one of may fave perfumes and was gutted when it was discontinued, so when i found this site and saw that this scent was available, i ordered the oil. Very very close to orginal and very strong and long lasting. Defo be buying more!

Bought as a stocking filler, very masculine fragrance. Reading the reviews of others was most helpful as this fragrance was unknown to me, but I feel that anyone who buys from Perfume Parlour must be very discerning and have a good appreciation of quality fragrances. Thanks to one and all.
