You have got to really like spices for this one, if you like the original which is extremely hard and expensive to find this is a reasonable copy.

Have bought 10 so far and 9 have been stunners but i'm afraid this one does not smell like the real thing, never the less a pretty perfume but don't expect it to smell like the original, but then neither does the original smell anything like it use to.

Does not have the sharp metallic opening of the original but if you like todays version, woody rosy version then 5 minutes in this smells exactly like it.

Bought this for a friend her favourite perfume, she LOVES IT cannot stop smelling her wrist. Personally i'm not a patchouli lover and cannot understand the previous reviewer saying she has to add extra patchouli! the patchouli in this is even more noticeable than in the real thing! My friend is a convert and will buying this from now on!

This is one of my favourite all time perfumes, I collect only the original pre 1989 bottles with the real mysore sandal wood in so was not expecting too much from this one, BUT I can honestly say that this is as good if not even better than the real perfume! I cannot believe how good this is. If you love samsara pre 1989 then give this a go, better than todays version.
