I've never had the privilege of even trying the original as the brand is limited to rather upmarket shops which are reluctant to allow a squirt let alone a sample. This version is an elegant, classic chypre, which smells very posh. I love it!

Wow! such an individual smell. It's a really interesting perfume and the smell is acidic, but very pleasant. Lasts for a long time. Love it!
