I was looking Rosendo Mateu 5 but the price is quite high (175 euros) but i'm not going to buy it because THIS ONE is a MUST of Perfume Parlour. Musky-floral with a touch of amber, is something that you may think that you've already smelled before, something familiar but no, this is something else. I bought a 10ml roll on to test it. I'll buy the 60ml extract.

Got this one as a free sample. I had the original available for comparison at a nearby store. This one easily destroys the original in performance which performs badly. I am not rating it based on my taste as i don't really like it. I am simply rating it because i'm surprised it's so much better than the original. I sprayed the original 4 times on the strip, and it wasn't detectable already after like 10 minutes. 2 sprays of PP version lasted several hours. It is about 95% close to the original, it's slightly spicier.

This was my introduction to pure oud oil. I thought I'd understood oud as I've smelt many luxury oud based fragrances, I was mistaken. Previously I thought of oud as a note, but thanks to this (and others I've tried subsequently) I see that ouds can have drastically different and complete scent profiles. This on my skin is fresh and invigorating (but not like a freshie perfume), like mint, fresh fruit and a light honey yet rich and substantial with very little of the barnyard smell I'd thought of as oud. If you've smelt enough perfumes not to be scared by oud and like me wanted to try the real thing, I couldn't recommend this more highly. I had planned to use it in another fragrance but that's no longer the case, I will now use it as an attar when I want to make an extra effort to create a statement scent profile. I've purchased many oils from PP and enjoyed many of them, this is by far the most expensive item and yet the only one that has compelled me to share a review. I guess my oud arc has now begun, thanks for that. :D

Dior Homme EDP is notoriously difficult to get, thank goodness PP have come up with their version which is very similar, strong and lasts over 6hours with a little amount.

This is Ganymede. I own the original, which i paid £150 and thought I'd try this one, what else am I gonna spend £20 on!?! Well, safe to say my original bottle of Ganymede is now up for sale. This is literally 1 to 1, it's insane how good this is. They've captured the weird, alien airiness of the original perfectly. Sprayed this on this morning and had a woman in Tesco ask me what I was wearing! Another hit from PP. Thank you!
