Option Review:30ml Spray
I am giving this one great marks because it's a beautiful perfume. However since i have a little bit of the original left, i can't say this one is very close to the OG. It definitely smells like it's inspired by Plum Japonais, but it smells more like a flanker, or an alternative twist. This one is a bit sweeter, while the original is boozier. The original evolves a bit too, while this one is pretty linear. I will most definitely reorder though, as it's wonderful scent in it's own right.

Got this one as a free sample. I actually like this one better than the original. The original has rubbery, almost petrol leather vibe which i actually hate. This one is sweeter, and much more wearable. If the original is 40 years old, this one is a 30 year old. Try it, but if you like the original this one will not be a suitable alternative. Very nice smell in it's own respect.

I have no idea how you guys pull it of for this kind of price. This is as close as it gets to the Oud Wood. The longevity is not the best, but neither is the original's. Just have a decan in your pocket for a night out and re-spray. Gave it 5 star over all as it checks all the OG's boxes.

If the original is Freddie Mercury, this is Marc Martel. The next best thing. If you passed by a club where Mark sings, not paying too much attention, you would think Feddie had risen from the dead. So don't over analyze, just wear it and enjoy it.

There is either something wrong with my nose, or with the batch i got. I compare this one side by side for the third day in a row with the original, both strip and on skin and it smells nothing like the original. It does go in the same direction, it is similar type of scent, but i wouldn't say this is even based on the BDC. It does not smell bad, it's just not even close. The original doesn't perform well either longevity/projection wise, this one is not better or worse in that regard.

I had to write another review since i've had it for a while. I give it considerably lower score now, as it iritates me how close it is, yet not close enough. It is extremely hard to wear. I am not a note expert, but there is certain weight to it that is unbearable. Lacking sweetness of the original. Every time i smell it it's undoubtably BY, however it's like it's ugly overweight, unsophisticated brother. I would love PP to revisit the formulation. It is so close, it's a shame not to bring it all the way home. I don't want to be rude, but there is a company that nailed BY 100%. I have that one as well. Maybe PP could analyse their replica and see where the issue might be. Could be PP had an old, or "bad batch" of the original. PLEASE REVISIT THIS FORMULATION!

Got this one as a free sample. I had the original available for comparison at a nearby store. This one easily destroys the original in performance which performs badly. I am not rating it based on my taste as i don't really like it. I am simply rating it because i'm surprised it's so much better than the original. I sprayed the original 4 times on the strip, and it wasn't detectable already after like 10 minutes. 2 sprays of PP version lasted several hours. It is about 95% close to the original, it's slightly spicier.

I'm going just by how I remember the original, which i've used extensively in the past, and stopped using it because of the weakened formula. I felt the opening smelled nothing like the original, not bad, but not familiar at all. Way too citrusy, more complex, almost like upgraded version. However after i gave it a chance to dry down it just started screaming ULTRAVIOLET. This one was never about the opening for me anyways, so i don't really care. Could be I don't remember it all that well. Longevity is most certainly better than the original, and projection is awesome. I actually used too much, expecting it to have the same, or similar strength as the original. Great work guys and girls!

This is the first perfume i ever got as a present. I was 18, and now i am 39. I've had this scent engrained in my mind and nose for 18 years. The moment Second and Last arrived i got transported 18 years back. I didn't even had to put it on, it smelled through the cap already. Just like the original. It's unstoppable. I feel it's slightly different in the opening, but this one is not about that, it's all about long lasting base notes, and there it shines. We are blessed by Perfume Parlour for this one. Thank you so much.
