I’ve not smelt the original but this version is beautiful! It’s not too overpowering which is fantastic if you’re looking for a softer daytime scent with just a whisper of sweetness. Smells like a cabbage patch dolls head if anyone remembers those. Would recommend layering with the body lotion if you want a longer lasting scent.

If you are looking for a fragrance similar to Glossier you, this is it! It’s not intrusive and over powering, smells like a second skin. Once it’s settled for about 10 minutes, honestly you’ll smell magical. I would 100% recommend to anyone who has a job working closely with people as the notes are apparently not allergenic so you won’t offend anyone’s sense of smell.

This fragrance is like an ocean water, it’s fresh yet salty. Imagine a 1940’s sailor returning from sea to great loved ones. Masculine but inviting. I wouldn’t say this is a unisex fragrance, this one is definitely for the men.

This is my number one fragrance of all time. Imagine prohibition era walking into a speak easy, the whiskey and old fashions are flowing, the air is filled with the smell of cigars and a subtle sweet sugary note from the dancers. It’s the fragrance Great Gatsby himself would have worn. Strong yet subtle, leaves a trail of wealth and smells like no other.

This was my most sceptical purchase as I’d looked up reviews of it reminding people of bonfires! But honestly don’t believe everything you read with those negative reviews, this fragrance is so beautiful! It’s not as intense as you think it would be it smells like a cottage in the woods with gingerbread freshly baking and the log fire is slowing burning. Takes me back to my childhood, imagining the smells of the gingerbread house in Hansel & Gretel. So nostalgic and comforting.

Smells like what I can imagine a famous writer from the 1920s would have smelt. It’s absolutely magical! Gives softness with the vanilla but with a hint of liquor, mixed with old pages of a leathery book. I can’t stop smelling it and having it transport me to the most magical yet mysterious places from the past. NOTE TO SELF- ALWAYS GET THE BIG BOTTLE!!!
