I must be honest, I have a difficult time comparing this sent to the original. First, they do smell different. The original is smoother with a sweeter touch—especially in the opening. Whereas the PP version has more of a balsamic smell. However, after about 30 minutes they become very close in smell. However, and here is my problem, they both sit very close to the skin. So, I must really dig my nose into them to tell the difference, which is difficult because they sit so close to the skin. And, in the air they’re hard to tell apart. For me the difference between the two doesn’t matter when I am comparing prices, performance, and quality. Yea, the original is higher quality and a better overall scent. However, it sits so close to the skin, and cost so much. Whereas, the PP version is a very good smell (not as good as the original), and also sits close to the skin. Overall, I would rather just carry around the 13 ml bottle and spray often than buy a full bottle of OU. For me this is a no brainer for me. PP all the way!

I have tested this side-by-side with the original and they are very close, but different. The original is smoother and last longer. Honestly, I got about 10 hours from the original. However, I get about 8 hours from PP’s version. For me the differences come when you put your nose close to them. PP’s version is a little harsh and not as well-blended as the original. In the air, they smell the same. But up-close PP’s version is about 90% similar. For me, this isn’t a 5 start because the original is better, but for the price you cannot go wrong. If I could I would give this 4 ½ stars.

I haven’t tried the original, but I did wear this side-by-side with Fortune, another popular clone of Naxos. From the reviews Fortune is said to smell exactly like Naxos. So, here is my comparison. PP and Fortune open slightly different, but only slightly. PP is a little airier, whereas Fortune seems to have more honey. After about 2 minutes they start smelling extremely similar. Fortune seems to project a little more, but they both smell almost the same. If you dig your nose in you may tell differences, but only slight. I had my wife smell the two and she thought they smelled the same, but Fortune was a little stronger. However, she loved the PP version. She said its one of her all-time favorites from my PP collection. Also, they both lasted about 8 hours. Honestly, this fragrance easily gets 5 stars. I don’t understand why others gave this less than 4 stars, but if you want to save money and smell wonderful get this. If you want to smell wonderful and pay far more money then get Fortune or Naxos. I will save my money with this superb copy.

I have the original and the PP version. This smells exactly the same and last longer. Neither have the best performance or projection, but this is still a great scent.

I tested this with the original and they smell almost the same. I really can’t tell the difference. Great job!
