Although this is not a heavy perfume, I find the elemi and clove dominant over the floral notes and even the Oud! Elemi is quite distinctive and hard to describe- a bit citrus, a bit resinous, slightly plastic, slightly metallic, natural but ceremonial...... have a sniff and see for yourself!

Can’t compare this with the original but it smells like PP’s version of Portrait of a Lady without the slightly pee-y black currant note - it really reminds me of Molten Brown’s Rose Absolue, a musty fruity dry rose. Nicely done!

Can’t compare with the original but this is a sweet fruity floral with a lovely soft amber powdery dry down. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘mysterious ‘ or an ‘enigma’ but very pleasant
