Never tried the original but this leaves a lingering scent on the skin reminiscent of using expensive, exclusive soap in a luxury hotel.

I find this oil overwhelmingly strong. Must be to do with body chemistry I suppose. I say lovely - from some distance away.

Bought this one on the strength of the one review and I am glad I did. It reminds me of Loverdose but ithe top note is a litle different. Unusual.

I bought this one on impulse. Love it! It is complex and deep (can smell the fir) and definately not a cloyingly sweet single note scent.

When I first used this oil I did not find it to be a particularly close version. I still don't but I have come very near to the end of the bottle and I definately want to order more.

So different! I immediately notice the star- anise and licqorice. Its never going to be one of my favourites but I really appreciate it - perfumes should not all smell the same.
