I was looking forward to receiving this one as I love powdery violet notes. unfortunately I found this a bit strange and not at all violety. It seemed quite smokey to me and I did not like the smell. Sorry PP.

This was a blind buy for me and unfortunately I found it disappointing and sadly this fragrance is not for me. I don’t know how it compares with the original but the majority of reviews suggest that it is a very good likeness. The perfume to me just smelt of tar and smoke and I didn’t get the sandalwood, patchouli nor any sweet rose notes. Sorry, PP, I hate writing negative reviews and I am usually very happy with your lovely scents. Perhaps my own body chemistry just reacts with this particular fragrance!
