I am a huge Roberto Cavalli fan so bought this to try, all i smell is the oud in this perfume, nothing else comes through on me, quite disappointed with this one but hate giving bad reviews.

Have not smelt the original so can not compare, but this is quite nice, it has the typical Hermes smell thats quite distinctive to me.
