It took me a while for this one to grow on me, and I often layered it successfully with other perfumes. Recently I tried the Armani Prive line at John Lewis and I recognised it immediately so the PP oil must be a good match.

Such a strong smell when first applied. But it actually grows and develops as the days goes on. This is in my forever collection hands down.

Quite a masculine scent , but that's no bad thing! The patchouli & sandalwood linger on me, there's a soft leathery background to it, reminds me of the best times with Dad, so I love it.

I've never tested the original, but this seems to be a classic chypre in the French style. Lovely for nights out and easy to wear at work!
