The version of Aventus I had been looking for: the one with both pineapple and easy detectable smoky note. I have never smelled the original version with the smoky birch notes, but I do love this PP version. Highly recommend it. I got many compliments wearing this.

Very, very similar to the original, if not identical. I own an original bottle by TF so I was able to compare. Seriously considering selling it :) Still need to test them both some more in the autumn. Highly recommend this!

Once this has dried down into skin, it develops into a lovely scent. Gorgeous.

After applying I thought it smelled a little too sweet and cheap, all I got was rose, almost like a toilet freshener, but within minutes it matured as the sandalwood and patchouli spiciness started to come through in to what I think is probably my favourite scent of its type. Absolutely awesome.

Again not sure if I got a bad batch as this comes nowhere close to the original, in fact it smells very feminine and lacks any smell. Disappointed!

Although this is a lovely scent, it smells just like any other amber based scent on the market. No fault of PP, as it smells very similar to the original, unfortunately I have about 3 other scents that smell exactly like this. Lovely all the same.
