I purchased this in the hopes that it would smell something like As Sawira - heavy oud with some added saffron. But the scent was lacking something. Can’t really pick up any oud at all. Did PP screw up the batch? So I went out and got a sample of Halfeti for comparison. The likeness is uncanny. I subjected my girlfriend to a blind test, asked her to try and guess which of the two was the original and respectively, which was the copy. She told me that she couldn’t tell. “But that one smells better”, pointing to the strip of paper with the PP version on it. I agreed. This particular scent isn’t my cup of tea, but, being better than the original must account for something.
