Based on the oil version. Never tried the original. I dont really get the coffee note but I do get spicy and beautiful rose. I agree its right for office/daytime wear . The only reason for 3 stars is that its a little light for my taste but it is a lovely fragrance for someone who prefers subtle.

Very good dark spicy rose. Office friendly as it is fairly soft and not overpowering. Impressed.

I have never smelled the original, so I can´t compare, but this one is a strong bulgarian rose scent, really long-lasting. As it warms on skin, It turns into a darker version of itself, sort of spicy (I don´t get any coffee in it, anyway). Based on 3 ml oil.

I could never afford the orginal, so I cannot compare but my husband agrees this smells lovely..... Always pleased when he is able to pick out the notes in the perfume!

This is a beautiful, strong, long-lasting rose scent. Not just any old rose, but dark, mysterious and spicy. I have never smelled the original but love this for its own sake. Heaven!

Updated review: Received my 30mls spray today, having already fallen in love with the oil, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. No strength lost as an EDP in fact better (IMO) scent projection, as some of the fragrance landed on my clothing. Will definitely now be purchasing my favourite oils in EDP spray format.
