mmm mixed feelings, but for sure the opening has a problem. Soapy, clean, fresh, frankly wasnt welcomed by people around me compared to Y and CH Prive. Not my cup of tea.

Never tried the original but if it was like this version then it will be perfect, fresh you can consider it an after shave perfume, one down side is that the opening is a bit alcoholic you need to wait a bit for the magic.

Incredibly weak longevity. Literally lasts 20-30 minutes. I tested it side by side with the real thing in John Lewis which gets 6-8 hours. The actual scent is a reasonable copy, but the longevity is unbelievably poor. I also purchased Norse (Viking) which is a lot stronger. To test out the difference, I left a spray of Avalanche and Norse on a cotton pad overnight. The Norse was still very much there in the morning - the Avalanche - NOTHING!
