I would say PP miss the mark on this one. Whilst it nails the back bone of the scent ; the overall experience is a mild departure from the OG. The lavender is noticeably different and you don’t get the slight citrus zip you do from the OG. Whilst there is no mint in the original you certainly get an aura of freshness which is lacking in this particular dupe and the creamy facet is replaced with something a bit stale smelling. Performance wise, very good. Projection and longevity is certainly there. Hopefully the scent is re-visited by the folks at PP as the original is a true beauty and they’re aren’t massively far off

My signature fragrance is black afghano. I know this scent profile down to every note. This is fantastic with longevity and projection. They get the top notes spot on. They're just missing the most important facet, the resinous, slightly sweet, hashish base. The green notes are their just the resinous hashish is missing. Almost perfect PP. 4/5

I have zero affiliation with perfume Parlour. I recently bought virgin island water inspired scent and saw this advertised underneath the VIW. I was set on buying three fragrances to reach the £100 free shipping. Took a punt in this and WOW. Seriously PP be proud of this creation. It's exactly as described, BR540 with a VIW base and a little musk thrown in. My partner received 6 compliments in one day at work. It projects for 12 hours+. Stays as a skin scent for 18 hours. Put of everything I bought this is by far the best. It's a legitimate 5/5 in every category.

this is the best aventus clone there is. if you smelt this first and then the original later on in life you would think the PP version was the original.

Very very close to the original. Maybe sweeter undertone. But honestly don’t think you could get any closer. And someone without a nose for perfume probably wouldn’t be able to tell. I’ve bought this a few times over the years.

This one has always smelt like the original. I’ve used this company for a while now. And hadn’t for a few years. So wasn’t sure if it would smell the same. But I’m happy to say it still smells like my original version. Can’t tell the difference.
