I own the original and was curious to see how close PP got to it. The opening isn’t quite as animalic as the original, but after a few minutes there’s no discernible difference. The animalic note is there and blend of cinnamon, clove and vanilla is spot on. Nice one PP, nice one indeed.

Masterpiece. Hadn‘t the chance to test the original as it was still available. But this is imho better than guerlain l instant , which it is often referred to. Not very loud but comforting and high quality

This goes straight to the SMW drydown, cannot tell the difference, the only downside is it misses that lovely fruity opening it could be a bit stronger a little bit on the weak side (projection/staying power) for the price just reapply

Haven’t smelt the original, so no idea how faithful it is. A pleasant fruity smell that lasts about 30 mins. If you like the smell it might be worth a go for the price, as you can keep reapplying.

Never smelt the original extract, only the original br540 (which l have a carded sample of) so can’t tell how close it is, but the br540 dna is definitely there. It’s very short lived though, about 30 mins, maybe a batch issue.

Fairly close to Ultra Male, just without the depth. Still well worth a try. I enjoy wearing it and it seems to last well on clothes too. Good value.

I’ve ordered a few rom PP lately, and this is my favourite by far. I’ve never smelt the original so can’t say how near it is, but it’s a lovely, simple, soft fragrance that is hard to describe. Despite its soft character, it’s very persistent giving you comforting wafts as you move around for hours. Love it,

Maybe l have a bad batch, but this smells nothing like br540 (l have a genuine carded sample). It’s an odd metallic latex/condomy smell and is very short lived. Hey ho, win some lose some.
