I am a fan of the original Opium and have been eagerly awaiting the new Opium Black. I am glad I waited for Perfume Parlours example...Excellent! Smells the same as original. Lasts for hours (the oil). Very happy! I've tried a good few Perfume Parlour perfumes, both oil and spray...Every time...Highly recommended.

This is a truly beautiful fragrance (perfume oil version) and the rose note is magnificent! I don't know what the original smells like, but this is already one of my favourites.

Tested the original in a high-end West End store and this version is spot on (I have the perfume oil and not the spray). This is very much a unisex fragrance which can be worn by both men and women. It's beautiful with a pronounced vetiver note, so if you like the latter you'll certainly like this!

This fragrance is one of my favourites and, having being very impressed with my 3ml trial size ordered a second, larger bottle. I have to say the 3ml trial was just as beautiful and long lasting as the original, once the fragrance had settled down. Unfortunately, however I haven't found the fragrance in the larger size to be as long lasting.
